How it works
At HR Support Desk, our process is designed to give you a clear understanding of your assignment’s submission readiness before you submit it. Every assignment begins with our Submission Readiness Review. From there, you decide whether to submit your work independently or continue with our optional Guided Editorial Support for additional assistance.
Begin by requesting a Submission Readiness Review and sending us your completed assignment or the AC/AC’s together with any supporting documents that may assist our review. These may include your assessment brief, unit specification, assessment criteria, or the tutor’s feedback. Once your booking has been confirmed and payment received, your assignment is securely allocated to an experienced CIPD tutor/editor.
What you’ll need to provide:

Rather than simply identifying grammatical errors, we evaluate how effectively your assignment addresses the assessment requirements while highlighting strengths, identifying potential weaknesses, and providing practical recommendations where improvements may be beneficial.
Once your review has been completed, you’ll receive a comprehensive review pack containing:
- Your Submission Readiness Review Report
- Turnitin Similarity Report
- Turnitin AI Writing Report
- A summary of findings across each of the seven review areas
- Clear recommendations for any areas requiring further attention
At this stage, you’ll have a clear understanding of your assignment’s current submission readiness and the areas, if any, that may require further work before submission.
After reviewing your Submission Readiness Review Pack, you decide how you would like to proceed.
Option 1: Submit Independently
If you are satisfied with the findings and feel confident in your assignment, you can make any final checks you consider necessary before submitting your work.
Option 2: Continue with Guided Editorial Support (Optional)
If you would like additional assistance in addressing the recommendations identified during your Submission Readiness Review, you may choose to continue with our Guided Editorial Support service.
Your assigned editor works directly with you to address the recommendations identified during your Submission Readiness Review.
Depending on the agreed level of support, this may include improving:
- Grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Academic writing style and clarity
- Sentence structure and coherence
- Overall organisation and presentation
- Referencing consistency and formatting
- Areas highlighted within your Submission Readiness Review Report
Where appropriate, your editor also provides explanations to help you understand the recommendations and how they relate to the assessment requirements, enabling you to make informed decisions about your own work while maintaining full ownership of your assignment.
Once the agreed editorial support has been completed, your assignment undergoes a final quality assurance review.
This review ensures that the agreed editorial work has been completed consistently and includes an updated assessment of the seven Submission Readiness Framework areas, together with refreshed originality reports where applicable.
Following the final quality assurance review, you’ll receive your Final Submission Pack, which includes:
- Your reviewed assignment
- Updated Turnitin Similarity Report
- Updated Turnitin AI Writing Report
- Final Submission Readiness Summary
This gives you the opportunity to carry out your own final review and decide when you feel confident to submit your assignment.
